About the Beelers'

The Beeler family is made up of Lauren (the mom), Josh (the dad), Aubriana (the oldest), Titus (now the middle) and Aurora (the baby).

Lauren and Josh have been together since they met in college in 2001, and to skip a few years, they married in Missouri in 2004. It has been a long road full of blessings, but not without some bumps along the way.

In 2010 Lauren and Josh found out they were expecting a baby, Joshua Jr., only to have to say goodbye in August 2010 at 19 weeks due to a placental abruption.

In July 2011 Josh was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) and spent 12 days in the hospital. He had his kidney removed (right kidney) is being followed by his doctors, and is currently clear of cancer.

Less of a “bump” and more of a “whoosh” moment: On October 30th, 2011 the Beelers found out they were expecting again! (The family was so excited to welcome Aurora on June 17th, 2012!)

Then on March 1st, 2012, the Beelers were met with yet another bump when Titus was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

As a family, the Beelers place their trust in God and believe that no matter what happens, God is ultimately in control and will continue to provide the strength and support they need.



Aubriana and Aurora

Aubriana is Titus’ big sister – she is 9 years old. Aurora is Titus’ baby sister born in 2012, 3 months after his diagnosis. These two very special girls make up a big part of Titus’ life.

Aubri and her brother are best buds and spend hours playing and imagining together. Aubri is in third grade and loves school! Her favorite subjects right now are math, art, and PE! She has proclaimed that she wants to be a police officer, a doctor, and a school teacher when she grows up. Aubriana has a sweet heart and loves helping around the house, especially when mom and dad haven’t asked her to: she enjoys surprising them with an empty dishwasher, or a wiped-down table.

Aurora Marie arrived June 17th, Father’s Day, 2012. The whole family was excited to meet the little lady, and Daddy got a special artistic Father’s day card with everyone’s contribution. Aurora will be 2 in a couple months and is spunky and loves tackling Titus!
